Your unwanted, working condition bicycles help empower communities by providing locals with basic transportation as well as providing better access to education, vital resources and healthcare. Donate to Bicycles for Humanity Melbourne to give your old bicycle a new life, which will help to empower people and communities around the world.
You can drop off your unwanted bicycle to donate at one of the many Bicycle Superstores around Melbourne and Victoria. If you cannot drop off your bicycle to a Bicycle Superstore, then you can contact our local B4H Melbourne Collection Volunteers in an area near you to arrange collection of your unwanted bicycles by calling your local bicycle collection Volunteer or by filling out our new online Bicycle Collection Request Form.
What Kind of Bicycles?
Please note that we can only accept clean, working or easily fixable complete bicycles (not parts) as donations.

In the developing world the most useful bicycles are:
- Adult sized sturdy Hybrid or Mountain bicycles.
We can now also accept all BMX bicycles, Road Bicycles, Children’s bicycles size 24″ or larger.
Where donated bicycles aren’t deemed suitable for African roads, they are still used to benefit our projects by repurposing them for use here in Australia through partnerships with other bicycle based charities. Our partner organisations, such as Second Chance Cycles, support bicycle repairs and resale, with all profits used to buy shipping containers to transport suitable bicycle donations and tools. Your donated bicycle will certainly be put to good use and find a new life.
Drop Off Locations
Please ensure that the bicycle you are donating has had a basic clean before dropping off to your nearest location. We don’t want our collection staff to handle and store dirty donated bicycles, which is unpleasant and potentially unsafe.
